School clubs are an essential part of extracurricular activities. These clubs provide students with a platform to explore their interests, develop new skills, and interact with like-minded peers. Through these clubs, students can pursue their passions and talents outside of the classroom and learn valuable life skills such as communication, teamwork, and leadership. Our school clubs also provide opportunities for students to participate in competitions and showcase their talents, which helps build their confidence and self-esteem. Overall, school clubs are an integral part of our school's culture, and we are proud to offer our students a diverse range of clubs to cater to their interests and passions. Here is the selection process for various clubs currently operating in the school:
Elections in Clubs
Fresh re-elections will be held for every club in the month of July every year. The club president will be responsible to conduct fair elections in their respective clubs and elect new students for the post of the club Vice President, Secretary, and treasurer. These are the election guidelines:
President: He/she will be appointed by the school and they will serve as the backbone of the club. It is the president’s responsibility to find new avenues and opportunities for the clubs as well as instil discipline among the club members. The best-performing president across clubs will be awarded a merit certificate and district-level recognition. (Teacher)
Vice President: The Vice President will be the second in command for the entire club. The club members can reach out to the Vice President with new ideas regarding the expansion of the club and other operational intricacies. (Class 12th)
Secretary: The secretary will act as the spokesperson of the club. The president needs to ensure that whosoever is selected as the secretary, has great interpersonal skills as he/she would act as a communication channel between the club and the school/other students.
Treasurer: The treasurer will be responsible for safekeeping the finances of the club. Any donation or fundraiser will be passed through the treasurer. (Class 11th)
Here are the clubs currently operational:
A writer is someone who finds everything around him worth writing about. Our very own Literary club certitudes the same belief. We feel immense pleasure in announcing the inception of our very own Literary club. The sole objective of this club is to bring out the best literary skills amongst children and assist them in becoming excellent communicators. This will be an all-round and inclusive club that welcomes students from classes 9th to 12th. This will be the hierarchical structure of the charity club:
- Club president: Teacher
- Vice President: Student
- Secretary: Student
- Conducting and participating in various literary events such as declamation, creative writing, short story telling, etc.
- Playing an active role in conducting literary event such as story writing & recitation, poem writing & recitation, conducting voice over plays, etc.
- Collaborating with other clubs in their write-ups and helping them in conveying their ideas effectively.
- Creating video narratives on specific topics and portraying your ideas.
- Creating posters with ‘Vocabulary in focus’ objectives.
- Students get a first-hand experience regarding what it takes to lead and become a part of a group.
- Brainstorming new ideas leads to the development of problem-solving skills.
- Every member gets a participation certificate at the beginning of next academic session and the top performers will get featured on the wall of fame.
To build a better society, we must give back. With this idea in mind, we have decided to start a Charity club in our school that will undertake various philanthropic activities across the Ballia district. This will be an all-round and inclusive club that welcomes students from classes 9th to 12th who understand that they need to give back to society. This will be the hierarchical structure of the charity club:
- Club president: Teacher
- Vice President: Student
- Secretary: Student
- Treasurer: Student
The club president will be chosen by the school and they will be responsible for conducting selections of the club’s Vice President, secretary, and the treasurer. Along with these designations, there will be 10 additional club members who will be selected by the club president, based on the internal selection criteria.
Some of the functions of the Charity club include (but are not limited to):
- Conducting charity drives such as clothes donation, lunch distribution, teaching in government schools, etc.
- Adopting a needy child in your locality and giving them free classes.
- Conducting fundraisers and collecting funds for various social causes. The mode of donation collection can be online or offline. However, the club members must ensure transparency in how the funds were collected and spent.

Enrollment: To enroll in the Charity club, the students can reach out to the club’s president and register their names and classes. The maximum allotted seats for each club must not exceed 30 (including the 4 key positions).
