We are proud to be an institution that not only focuses on academic excellence but also recognizes the importance of holistic development. One of the ways we achieve this is by regularly conducting intra-mural activities.
Our school believes that education is not limited to textbooks and lectures, but rather it is a combination of academics, sports, and extra-curricular activities. Our intra-mural activities provide an opportunity for our students to showcase their talents and skills outside of the classroom setting.
We believe that through intra-mural activities, our students can learn valuable life lessons such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership. Our school offers a wide range of activities such as sports tournaments, art and music competitions, and academic quizzes.
We encourage our students to participate in these activities as we believe it will not only enhance their skills but also foster a sense of camaraderie and healthy competition among them. We also believe that by participating in these activities, our students will develop a well-rounded personality that will serve them well in their future endeavours.
At our school, we take pride in our commitment to providing holistic education to our students, and our intra-mural activities are just one of the ways we achieve this goal. We invite you to join our community and experience the joys of learning beyond the classroom walls.
To inculcate within the students a sense of social responsibility so that they can help create a progressive society, Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) programmes are taken up on a regular basis. Service-conscious students take initiative on their own in order to instil among them the dignity of labour. SUPW programmes basically primarily aim at making children self-reliant thus fostering their selfless contributions in the process of nation-building.
To uphold the virtue of 'service before self', several social work programmes are held throughout every academic session to make students aware of the importance of being someone's pain bearers and at the same time to have the students first-hand experience of suffering and miseries which downtrodden people undergo. Students arrange articles from their own end with some assistance from the school itself in order to lend a helping hand to the sufferers.
Parliament is the temple of democracy. A country's issues are always addressed in Parliament where elected leaders discuss ways to drive out the country from the issues. A Youth Parliament where students disguised themselves as the leaders of the nation was organised. The main aim of this was to expose students to the issues which the citizens of the nation face irrespective of their differences. Several constructive deliberations and discussions took place among the students as they tried to look into the prevailing problems. This Youth Parliament provided the students a platform for those who aspire to become a leader and serve the country in the time to come.
Seated in the lap of nature, surrounded by lush greenery all around, a new golden chapter was added in the history of Radhakrishna Academy as the dawn of 25th February, 2017 witnessed the opening of yet another branch. With an aim to foster the growth of quality education in Ballia, this new branch has followed the same inspiration which it touched upon back in the year 2000. The date 25th Feb is etched in gold in the history of Radhakrishna Academy as this day is celebrated with solidarity and everyone associated with the school vows to trod on a similar path which has set lofty ideals.
We are fortunate enough to have the world's largest written constitution and at the same time, we're the largest democracy in the world. So, we are duty-bound to respect the provisions enshrined in our holy constitution as it sets our nation apart. Every year on 26th November, our team takes oath to abide by the ideals mentioned in our constitution. Students on their part display utmost patriotism through their chivalrous performances in the form of dance, song and skit. Hoisting of Tiranga, followed by mammoth singing of the National Anthem just adds grandeur and glory to the celebrations.
29th August marks the National Sports Day and our school has always taken inspiration from sportspeople across the country to make it a profession for those who are quite passionate about building a career in sports. Sports of all disciplines, be it indoor or outdoor, is played and students who excel in sports are honoured with medals and trophies. We always believe that participation is more important than winning. Winners are not those who always win, but who never quit. Besides this, students take an active part in cluster tournaments of extramural domain where they compete with some extraordinary sports person across the district.
Giving responsibilities to the students so that they take over the world in an accountable manner, is what we always look forward to. Filling within the students a sense of leadership in order to make them a sound leader in the future, an investiture ceremony is held every session. Some non-core school duties are handed over to the students which they embrace dutifully and try to deliver their best. Students are studded with badges wearing their designations and sachets and administered oath that they will respect their positions and will try to uphold the values of the school.
Those hands which are generally seen holding a baton in their hands, this time the baton got replaced with a microphone and a pen as policemen walked into the school premise to throw some light on the prevailing issue of cyber crime. In a world, where technology is an integral part of our life, making everyone aware about the misuse of the same is pertinent. A 'paathshala' organised by police where students quenched their thirst regarding the issue of cyber crime and policemen on their part tried to ensure contentment among the students with their satisfactory answers.
Ours land is the holiest of all as it witnesses the worshipping of females on several occasions. Respecting women is something which overshadows other virtues but unfortunately some miscreants demean the integrity of the women which make them feel insecure and unsafe. A workshop exclusively aimed at strengthening the morale of women and instilling among them a sense of confidence and fearlessness was held. Police themselves had thrown the initiative that they would make girls aware about several techniques ranging from using pepper spray to learning self defence techniques which could be used by them when in trouble. Police also campaigned around several measures which they undertake to protect the dignity of the women.
To aid students in setting up realistic goals, several counselling programs have been organised at our school. Students are acquainted with specialists so that they can think of a better and bright future. Students get information regarding the right kind of domain best suited to them. It acts like a milestone and helps students to choose the right direction. Students come to know about themselves and get an opportunity to get exposure to the outside world.
