- Promotion to the next class will not be granted if a student fails in 2 subjects or more in the final exam.
- All doubtful cases regarding promotion are left entirely at the sole decision of the principal. Parents must not come with recommendations, once the principal has given the decision.
- Group discussion with the principal, the vice-principal or teachers is not allowed regarding promotions.
- A student failing for two successive years shall have to be withdrawn from school.
- A student must secure at least 40% marks in each subject for promotion to the next class.
- Re-examination will not be conducted under any circumstances.
